Hope is already at work in Mae Sot.
MAE SOT · TAK PROVINCE · THAILAND
Mae Sot sits along Thailand’s western border with Myanmar, at the centre of a region shaped by conflict, displacement and migration. Thousands of Burmese children and families have crossed into the area seeking safety, stability and opportunity, while local schools, churches and ministries work to meet growing needs for education, food, housing and everyday care.
Yet Mae Sot is also a place of remarkable hope. For decades, local leaders have been caring for vulnerable children, providing homes, helping them attend school, feeding families, strengthening the church and sharing the love of Jesus. Our team is travelling there not to begin something new, but to come alongside the people who are already faithfully serving their community every day.
The need is real.
So is the hope.

"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act."
PROVERBS 3:27
A place to call home.
BOYS' & GIRLS' HOMES
The Boys’ Home and Grace House provide safe, loving homes for Thai and Burmese children who have been orphaned or are without stable family care. Here, they are fed, cared for, sent to school and surrounded by people who know them, love them and are invested in their future. More than simply providing shelter, these homes offer stability, family and a place to belong — while pointing each child toward the hope of Jesus.
During our time in Mae Sot, we’ll spend our days eating meals with the children, teaching and practising English, playing games, praying together, sharing Bible teaching and simply being present with them. We want to listen, laugh, encourage and love them well, while also supporting the leaders who care for them every day and helping plan for future growth as both homes approach capacity.

UNREACHED PEOPLES IN THAILAND
Joshua Project estimates that 72 of Thailand’s 109 people groups are unreached, representing about 86% of the population. Many communities still have little or no access to a local church or clear Gospel witness.
EVANGELISM · HILL TRIBES
Where the road ends, mission begins.
Beyond Mae Sot are remote hill-tribe villages, some accessible only by 4×4, where families live with few of the things we take for granted - limited infrastructure, little or no running water and unreliable electricity. Some communities have had very little opportunity to encounter the Gospel or hear clearly about Jesus.
We’ll enter these villages as guests; sleeping there, eating together and sharing life with the people who call them home. We’ll listen, build relationships, share the Gospel and pray boldly in Jesus’ name for healing, deliverance and miracles. Our desire is simple: to go where few others go and share the hope of Jesus with people who may have had little opportunity to hear it.
THE LOCAL CHURCH
Faith that stays.
At the heart of Mae Sot is a local church that is alive, growing and faithfully serving its community. For more than 40 years, Pastor John has poured his life into this congregation, preaching the Gospel, discipling believers, caring for families and building a church where people can encounter Jesus and grow in their faith.
During our time in Mae Sot, we’ll serve alongside Pastor John and the church in whatever ways are needed from Sunday morning services and Burmese-language services at night, to youth ministry, prayer gatherings, worship nights, Bible teaching and personal ministry. We’re going to listen, serve, encourage and join a church that is already passionately reaching its community.
Our prayer is not simply that we would accomplish something during the few days we are there, but that God would use our time together to strengthen believers, encourage leaders and stir an even deeper hunger for His presence. The church in Mae Sot is already strong. We simply want to come alongside it and believe together for even more.

SERVE THE CHURCH.
STRENGTHEN THE FAITHFUL.
BELIEVE FOR REVIVAL.
how you can help

Support what God is
doing in Mae Sot.
Our team is travelling to Mae Sot to serve alongside local churches and ministries that are already caring for children, strengthening families, reaching remote villages and sharing the hope of Jesus.
To make this mission possible, we need people willing to help send us. Your support will help cover the cost of getting our team to Thailand while also allowing us to arrive ready to give generously, purchasing food and supplies, blessing schools and children’s homes, supporting the local church, meeting practical needs and responding as God leads while we are there.
Help us get there. Bless what God is doing. Give generously. Change lives. Share Jesus.
